Error message when adding files

  • Just did the latest wordpress update on Monday, and now I can’t upload any new images. I keep getting an error message. I have tried it on explorer and chrome, disabled all my plugins and changes themes. Still no results.

    What is the full error message?

    It says “an error occurred in the upload please try again later”.
    The same message I’ve gotten for the last 3 days now.

    On top of that I just wrote a little blurb to let everyone know we are experiencing some difficulties on the site, but when I posted it, the post vanished, and there was no publish button, there is now a submit for review button.

    – Check the error logs on your server for a more specific error message. If you need help locating them, ask your hosting provider to help you with that.
