Error Message While Processing in Google Chrome

Just upgraded to Version 5.5.3

And still having the same issue in Google Chrome

we started to get this as well

I am seeing this as well. Also with Google Chrome (but I haven’t tested other browsers)

I am also seeing this with the MS Edge browser.

I tested with Firefox and did NOT see the error there.

If it is any help with debugging, when the error shows up I see these URLs shown in the browser nav bar:

First: https://www.paypal.com/auth/validatecaptcha

Redirecting to:

https://www.paypal.com/webapps/shoppingcart/error?flowlogging_id=%5Brandom number sequence]&code=ERROR&mfid=[random number sequence]

When the form works, it instead goes to a PayPal URL tha displays as:

https://www.paypal.com/webapps/hermes?token=%5Brandom number sequence]&useraction=commit&mfid=[random number sequence]

So it does look like some sort of validation issue.

On another support thread it was noted that Chrome and Edge update continually in the background. It’s this updating that affects in-context payments.

I’ve raised a ticket with PayPal support so just need to wait and see what they come back with.
