Error Message – White Screen of Death due to Widget Logic

  • Hi there,

    on a client page white screen of death appears due to an error in Widget Logic – Plugin which says:

    Use of undefined constant is_category – assumed ‘is_category’ in /wp-content/plugins/widget-logic/widget_logic.php(286) : eval()’d code on line 1 Fatal error: Call to undefined function news() in //wp-content/plugins/widget-logic/widget_logic.php(286) : eval()’d code on line 1

    Client says she amended somethin in the widget-logic fields on a certain widget but does not know exactly what she did before the site went off.

    As deinstalling and reinstalling the Plugin did not help to solve the error I assume something needs to be fixed in the database, but I don’t have a clue what to look for.

    I’d appreciate any help.

  • in the database I found my widget logic conditional tags
    under the table
    wp_options

    There is a line for ‘widget_logic’

    Thanks for your reply. I found the table already by myself and cleared all entries, that worked fine to get Widget Logic back to work.
