• I installed this plugin to test and compare it to a caching plugin I was using. I disable that plugin and installed yours. When I click on the button, Test Cache, I get a long error message you can see below. How do I fix the problem and get full use of this plugin?

    Thanks,

    ====================

    Page caching seems not working for both dynamic and static pages.

    Error on dynamic page (https://www.keptlight.com): Cache status: DYNAMIC - The resource was not cached by default and your current Cloudflare caching configuration doesn't instruct Cloudflare to cache the resource. Instead, the resource was requested from the origin web server.

    Error on static resource (https://www.keptlight.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cloudflare-page-cache/assets/testcache.html): Cache status: DYNAMIC - The resource was not cached by default and your current Cloudflare caching configuration doesn't instruct Cloudflare to cache the resource. Instead, the resource was requested from the origin web server.

    Please check if the page caching is working by yourself by surfing the website in incognito mode 'cause sometimes Cloudflare bypass the cache for cURL requests. Reload a page two or three times. If you see the response header cf-cache-status: HIT, the page caching is working well.

    Hi,
    It seems you have a ton of things enabled at once.
    First of all I can see that you are using Cloudflare APO in your website along with the official cloudflare plugin. Please note that while using this plugin you need to make sure that you have deactivated and deleted the official cloudflare plugin from your website and also turned off APO from inside Cloudflare Dashboard.

    Also, in your pages I can see that the cache-control header value is not what the plugin setts which means it is being set by some other plugin. Also in the response header there are no extra header value that this plugin adds which clearly means that there are some other caching system which is not letting this plugin to work.

    While using this plugin, please make sure that you have deleted and removed all other page caching plugin from your site. Also if you have any server level page caching system, you need to disable that too. One site cannot have more than one page caching system as that will always conflict with one another.

    So, first delete these plugin. Then disable and delete all other caching plugins that you have in your website. Delete the official cloudflare plugin and turn off API inside CF dashboard.

    Also check the page rule section in your Cloudflare and make sure:
    1. you do not have any page rule that is modifying the cache behaviour in any ways
    2. Make sure you have space left for adding a page rule – e.g. free CF account can hold only 3 page rules.
    3. Check the /wp-content/ folder of your website and make sure there is no advanced-cache.php file present.

    Then install this plugin as fresh and setup/configure it. At that point if you still face issues, let me know and I will look at your site again.

    Thank you. When I first tried this plugin, I did disable the caching plugin and deleted its entire cache. But, apparently, the requirements of this plugin are not suitable for trials to find out how it works. Thank you anyway for explaining these in detail.
