Error Messages

    I am getting the following error message on a very regular basis.

    Warning: require_once(/Library/WebServer/Documents/divers/wp-includes/cache.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: Too many open files in /Library/WebServer/Documents/divers/wp-settings.php on line 217

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/Library/WebServer/Documents/divers/wp-includes/cache.php’ (include_path=’.:’) in /Library/WebServer/Documents/divers/wp-settings.php on line 217

    I am running on an Apple imac 20 using Leopard Server 10.5.2
    – Apache 2.2
    – PHP 5.0
    – mysql built in to server

    The only way I have found to clear the issue is to reset the Web Server (turn it off then back on)

    Obviously this is not ideal, any help would be great

    correction I am running PHP 5.2.5
