    Hi,

I am experiencing the following error in Google Webmaster Tool:

    “error Missing: updated”

How can i fix this issue? Is it a WordPress concern?

    Thanks a lot

    Matteo

  • You need to be more specific… where are you seeing the error? Sitemaps? Crawl errors?

    Thanks for the answer

It is in Search Appearance – Structured Data – Markup: microformat

KokiDoo, this issue is very well documented if you make a duckduckgo/google/bing/whatever web search, for instance with this query:
[ “error Missing: updated” google webmaster ]

Try and see for yourself ??

I do know that but I am not a computer expert and I do not know where should I go to fix this thing. What I thought is that if it is a WordPress thing, maybe they may fix it in an eventual update.

    Thanks for the answer

I think Sabinooo’s point is that if you don’t at least try and do the research yourself, you are basically just asking other people to do it for you. Do some research, have a try, then come and ask for help ??

As Colin said. I hope I didn’t sound rude with my reply.

The idea is: help your self first before seeking help, that way you’re showing you have determination, and you’re helping solve your problem because whatever you tried is already a first step (assuming you do describe what you tried, of course=, a starting basis for the more competent persons in the forums…
And, from my own experience, even when you believe that fixing a certain issue is impossible for you, making those searches and tries to avoid public embarrassment of saying “help me, I didn’t even try first”, that has frequently resulted in an unexpected success in fixing my problems by myself ??
