    I’ve created a job, but when I try to run it, I get this error message:
    Folder /.../wp-content/uploads/backwpup-a6fdb-logs is not in open basedir, please use another folder.

    I don’t know what this folder is. How do I choose another folder, so I can make a backup?

    Hi @metteonline,

    “backwpup-a6fdb-logs” is BackWPUp’s log folder, please try to exclude that folder in your job setting and run again.
    Hope that helps you ??

    Hmmm … that folder is already excluded. I didn’t change the default settings for this one … You mean under the setting tab “Files” right?

    Hi ,
    in this image, please tick to all folder started with backwpup-
    (these folders should already excluded by this plugin but in your case, it’s not)
    After that, save job setting and try to run again.
    Hope that fixed your issue ??

    Thread Starter metteonline

    (@metteonline)

    All four are ticked now but I still get the same error message when I try to run the job ?!?

    No clue? @duongcuong96

    Hi @metteonline, I would ask your host about the open_basedir setting. Usually we don’t see such issues. Since this folder is under your uploads folder it shouldn’t be causing problems, but it obviously is. So let your host know about this and see if they might have some suggestion.

    @metteonline,
    since we haven’t heard back from you, I’m going to mark it as resolved.
    If you’re still having problems, feel free to let us know ;),
