Error msg: You need at least one entry in the chat forum!

I installed the plugin and when I try it, in the front end I get this message:

You need at least one entry in the chat forum!

And then when I type a message in the chat box and click “Say it!”, nothing happens.

When I look at the browser debug window I see that the page

simple-ajax-chat.php?sacSendChat=yes
/wp-content/plugins/simple-ajax-chat

is not found, error 404…

any idea of what can be going wrong?

It could be that the JavaScript file is not getting loaded, which there should be an option for including/excluding.. if you have a URL I would be glad to take a look..
