I’ve installed the latest Loco and created a Loco template based on a child theme.

When I translate text and want to save it I get the error message “Error: No Hacking”

This error does not come from my plugin, or from the WordPress core. It must come from another plugin. Perhaps some security software you have installed.

Please follow the standard approach for eliminating your theme and other plugins as the source of the error.

You may also want to search your plugin source files for the error text to find out which plugin throws it.

If you find out what throws the error, please post back so I can see if my plugin has a compatibility problem with another plugin.

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for your quick response.

The response I am getting is on the Extra theme by Elegant Themes. The plugin says there is no bundle found and the configuration needs to be completed.

I don’t see the connection between your last comment and the “No Hacking” error message you’ve reported.

If your theme requires configuration, you will have to configure it via the Advanced tab. See the manual: https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/bundle-config

Or you can enter the config as XML via the Setup tab. The following XML worked for me some time ago.

You are right. The message “Error: No hacking” was not related to my last comment.

I followed your guide by disabling all plugins and changing the theme to default 2016. I even tried translating a few text from that theme but I keep getting the same error message.

Which error message? The one you reported first or second?

    (@marcusdeman)

The one I first reported. The “Error: No hacking”

OK, so we’re back where we started.

As I said my plugin does not throw an error with the text “No Hacking”.

    Finally solved!

My ISP uses an app called webknight application firewall which was triggered everytime I tried to save the translations.

After that was fixed I am now able to save. I learned about this webknight being triggered because I wanted to download the po file through the plugin.

Anyhow thank you Tim for the support.

    Thanks for the info.
Another security add-on to add to the list.
