• I recently updated to WordPress 6.7.1 and am now seeing notices related to the Featured Image Admin Thumb plugin. I’ve attached a screenshot of the notices for reference. The current plugin version I am using is 1.6.

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called?incorrectly. Translation loading for the?featured-image-admin-thumb-fiat?domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the?init?action or later. in?/wp-includes/functions.php?on line?6114.

let me know if you can fix the issue and provide guidance on how to fix it.

    Hi

    Thanks for reporting this

It sounds exactly like the issue reported here https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/php-error-wp-6-7-notice-function-_load_textdomain_just_in_time-was-called-11/

I go into a bit more detail on what has been reported and offered up a solution in the form of the development version of my plugin. From my testing the changes in that development plugin version resolve the issue. Are you able to try that and report back if it works for you?

As I said the functionality of the plugin is not affected and the Notices in the error logs are just that and are showing based on php.ini configuration and WP_DEBUG set to true – in the interim these can be changed on a site by site basis to reduce the logging of this notice.

Please let me know if you can try the development version and let us all know here.

Thank you for using my plugin
