    WordPress Version: 4.9.5

    Envira Lite Version: 1.6.2

    Example URL demonstrating the issue: You can’t see it unless you are logged in

    Exact steps taken to reproduce the issue (enough for anyone with Envira Lite installed to be able to take those steps and see the issue for themselves): I’m not sure when it started to happen but I have some errors above my gallery images. When I’m logged in I see them but logged out users just see the normal gallery. I’m not sure why this is? I’ve made sure I upgraded wordpress, installed the most recent version of the plugin and I’ve attempted to create new galleried with no luck. Every single gallery has these errors.

    What the error is: Envira: Error occured resizing image (these messages are only displayed to logged in WordPress users):
    Error: The dimensions of the original image could not be retrieved for cropping.
    Image: https://www.sagekey.com/backend-files/uploads/LSA-CO-OP1-3.png
    Args: array (
    ‘position’ => ‘c’,
    ‘width’ => 640,
    ‘height’ => 480,
    ‘quality’ => 100,
    ‘retina’ => false,
    )

    ‘retina’ => true,
    )

    It will have this error for each image in the gallery.

    What you expect to see: I expect to see no error codes when I’m logged in.

    Had anyone run into this before or have an idea as to what might be happening? Does it depend on the server your on as well?

  • Hi ??

    Are you using a CDN to server your images? Envira doesn’t have the permissions necessary to create cropped images when there is a CDN in play.

    But we’d be happy to look into this further for you. Would you mind reaching out to support for this issue?

    Thanks

    What host are you on? Found this because I’m getting the same error with Soliloquy. Maybe we can find a common denominator to solve both our problems.

    My host is WPEngine
    Using Soliloquy dynamic slider add on with ACF gallery field
    Also using the Lightbox add on. Disabling lightbox fixes it.

    Hi guys ??

    We’ve found that ACF and Soliloquy’s Lightbox thumbnails are not working well together. If you go to the lightbox tab and disable the lightbox thumbnails, this resolves the issue.

    I’ll be reporting this to the developers to see what we can do about this conflict between the 2 plugins.

    Thanks

    Also discovered – this started somewhere between Soliloquy version 2.5.3.1 (when there was no error) and the current version.

    Thanks for the update.
