    Hello @vismithams
We have already encountered such an error, I need to clarify if there were any fixes, so I can give you the dev version.
I’ll be back to you within few hours.

We have fixed the problem. All the changes will be included in the next stable release.
Please, reinstall the plugin. (Download link: https://github.com/CleanTalk/wordpress-antispam/releases/download/dev-version/cleantalk-spam-protect.zip)

Here is a guide for you:
    1. Enter the Antispam by Cleantalk plugin settings. (WordPress Dashboard -> Settings -> Antispam by Cleantalk -> Advanced settings)
    2. Check the last settings “Complete deactivation” and save changes.
    3. Go to WordPress Administrator Panel —> Plugins. Find the plugin “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Deactivate.
    4. After the automatic page refreshing find the plugin again “Spam Protection by CleanTalk” —> Delete. Confirm “Yes, delete these files”.
    5. Download the plugin archive from the link above.
    6. Go to Plugins —> Add New —> Upload Plugin.
    7. Choose the downloaded archive and press “Install Now”. Then activate it.
    5. Enter your access key in the plugin’s settings.

Contact us if you have any questions.

Hi, tried the steps above, but still the same error appears.

    Hello,

Did you deactivate and delete the previous version with Complete deactivation option enabled?

Did you install the dev version?

    Hello @aljonderrick.
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this thread as “resolved” – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
