Error on Activating plugins and error on functions.php

    Hi,

    Im got this error everytime I am installing a plugin.

    Could not create directory.

    Why do I get that error? It has something to do with functions.php?

    Few days ago, I edited the functions.php to exclude a post category on the sidebar. Please see this – https://pastebin.com/HxeAzKa3. I paste the codes on that link.

    On functions.php, on line 1499 is the start on the codes that I added. Yesterday, I can’t login on the site. I got this error.

    I tried to removed the codes that I added and I can access the back-end of the site but I didn’t remove the codes because I need to exclude a post on the sidebar. Now I got the error on installing themes. Why does I encounter does error? Please help me to fix this issue. Thanks
