error on activating w3 total cache

  • Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
/home/vuniteu/public_html/wp-content/w3tc could not be created, please run following command:
chmod 777 /home/vuniteu/public_html/wp-content

    i encounter this problem when activating the plugin.
