With no further information on the image that’s causing the error and the current setup of your site, it’s hard to tell what’s causing the issue with regeneration.
Can you tell us more information about what kind of media files these thumbnails images that failed to regenerate?
– Do you have the original files in the media library?
– Is the original media accessible via URL?
– What are your settings for Regenerate Thumbnails, here? https://d.pr/i/KiIaGD
– Are you using the 320×160 thumbnails somewhere on the website, are they linked to post or pages?
– Is the issue happening with certain types of images (png, jpg, webp, etc), or is it happening for all the images on the site?
– On your website under Settings > Media is the Thumbnail size set to 320×160?

That said, there are 2 other alternatives here you may consider, as recommended by the plugin author:
– Using WP CLI media regenerate function: https://developer.www.ads-software.com/cli/commands/media/regenerate/ (you’d need access to WP CLI)
– Using Jetpack’s Site Accelerator (recommended)
