    Hi
you get that message if the data file is corrupted (plugin was unable to unserialise the contents into an array) OR there was no version number stored – eg if from a really older version of the plugins – which would probably not make it either.

You could try downloading the settings file again. It it fail again, then quickest solution is to have two windows up – one from each system – and manually repeat the configuration. That way you’d see what, if anything, is different.

    1) do “find fields” to make sure you have the same kind of data in each system
    2) then configure the lists – get same fields displayed, save
    3) then add in any filtering, navigation etc
    4) check the ‘overview’ settings – like whether public/is search displayed etc.

Ha – I remembered that the invalid settings had come up before and searched back to see if someone else had it too. But it is also you. Perhaps you accidentally opened he files and somehow pasted in the current date in the first few characters ?

for benefit of anyone else reading, that appears to be why the file was rejected – it had a datestring in frontof the array of settings. Remove the date string and all was fine.
