    Hi
After update WP 5.2.2 and Update Sequrity Themes, i receive an error:

    Message:
WordPress database error: [Table ‘demo.xxxxxx_itsec_log’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT count(*) from xxxxxx_itsec_log

Notice: Undefined variable: num_dashboard_events in /home/www/…./home/wp-content/plugins/log-cleaner-for-ithemes-security/log-cleaner-ithemes.php on line 133
Note: Continuing here will delete the selected iThemes Security logs from the database. You absolutely can not undo this action. If in doubt, view the logs first or backup your database.

I will turn error display off now.
Bether when var num_dashboard_events is define at top with empty value to not display junk.

    Thank you for this plugin.
    regards

I can’t replicate this error, on any of the websites I’m running it on (with WP 5.2.2).

From what you describe, it could be_itsec_log table doesn’t exist for you. Was it somehow deleted? I will look at adding a check for the existence of the table before it executes any queries.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    I also get the message

    WordPress-Datenbank-Fehler: [Table ‘xxx.xx_itsec_log’ doesn’t exist]
    TRUNCATE TABLE xx_itsec_log

    Log cleaner for iThemes Security
The selected logs have been deleted.

    But it deletes the logs?
Deinstalled and reinstalled it, no effect.

    Any ideas?

    Hello everybody
I only have “database” in the security settings.
The file was deleted by me. I reinstall security, but no file is generated anymore.
I think it is not needed.

The error is displayed when I use LogCleaner.
That’s not a problem for me, but I just wanted to inform you.

Thanks. I haven’t forgotten about this. Struggling to find time to look at it. I think it’s going to have be a weekend job. Stay tuned.

Update: I’ve managed to do this now. It seems to be fine on the handful of sites I tested, but by all means let me know if you have any dramas.

    Thanks again for the heads-up.

I would like to recommend the following: (fast-track solution or repair)

    (1) Deactivate and delete iThemes Security or iThemes Security Pro (if installed). Before deleting, save your current settings.

    (2) Deactivate and delete this plugin (Log Cleaner for iThemes Security)

    (3) Reinstall and activate above plugins. Import settings saved in (1) above.

    Optional:

Implement the snippet provided in this support forum. Note: If you implement the snippet, this plugin (Log Cleaner for iThemes Security) will not be required.

    Cheers!
