Same for me, auto-updated to v4.7.1 and the whole website went away. I’ve completely disabled the plugin so I can get the website back. Please provide a fix for this one as soon as possible.

    Same here.
    class-is-stemmer.php is missing.
Disabling line 151 in add-search-to-menu.php seems to be a temporary workaround.
Search still seems to work when doing so.
Otherwise, deactivation of the plugin is of course a safe option.

Yeah, we just had to deactivate it. Blew up the site with the same error above. Deactivation was the only choice we had.

Took out one of my clients sites, restoring from backups…

@wormeyman no need to do that. Just delete the plugin and install the previous version: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/add-search-to-menu/advanced/ (bottom of the page)

quite a widespread error i see, same for me too
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/add-search-to-menu/includes/class-is-stemmer.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory

Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Following. Crashed the site and disabled via SFTP by renaming the plugin folder.

    The same error here!
I had to delete the plugin via FTP to get the site working again.
Have the authors already detected the problem?
    Thanks!

Same here. Two major sites went completely down because of this.

Removing this plugin via FTP did the trick.

@bluesix I am a total noob and your solution (which was easy enough for me to implement) saved my site. Thank you so much!

This update was a f…ing disaster from the developer. Also whole website went down. And trying to figure out the name is insane, the folder has nothing in common with the name of the plugin…
