• I dont know what version this is but i got it about 4 months ago so it is brand new. I am new to this but have been doing well so far.

Here’s my question: I just got done posting a blog for the week. I type it right into the WordPress window. I updated (saved) like I always do. When I went to the website to make sure the content was showing properly, i noticed an error message bottom lower left of webpage. It told me the error is on line 192, Char: 4. How do i find the 192th line on the page so I can see what’s typed in that position? Anyone know? Must I count lines manually from that website page? How do i fix the error? Just retype that portion of the post?

    Hi,

I’m not seeing anything on that page error wise. I checked the HTML/CSS on that line and nothing is jumping out. What browser are you using that displays the error or is it within the wordpress page itself?

    Internet explorer 8

everytime i log into word press it says my browser is out of date. but i dont know which IE to download.

IE9 is only available using Windows 7.

its funny you dont see the yellow “!” inside the triangle on the bottom left corner of the browser screen.

also i tried to post my new blog link onto facebook business page and usually it pulls up a bit of the text with the same photo i have in the blog. I tried to do that it keeps pulling up the 2nd blog down, which was last week’s blog post.

I got windows XP. Now what does all this mean? what IE browser should i be using for word press?

I went to my URL again and checked the category VIEW BLOG using IE, not word press, and i get the Exclaimation point inside the triangle on lower left page. Then I clicked on the next category LATEST NEWS and same error appears left side bottom. same with TESTIMONIALS catagory. I figure it the same error message across all categories.

does anyone know why i am getting the “!DONE” at bottom left?

    Hi,

Ahh that makes sense it’s a javascript error. Are you using a gallery plugin maybe or even a lightbox specific plugin even? Lightbox is a popular javascript tool for image display/manipulation and is used in several plugins. So I would check for updates for any gallery plugins for starters. Let us know what gallery plugins you are using and perhaps we can help further from there.

    For browsers I recommend firefox.com or google.com/chrome

    Cheers,
    Chad
