Ok, I have the same problem.

I will wait for a plugin update, but in the mean time the problem is present for pages with GET parameters if you have active the option:
“Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url)”

In the options uncheck that feature and save, everything will work again.
But this is a temporal fix as that option is important for my site.

paulodamian – That worked for my sites.

Uncheck – Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url). Search works, login works, and Preview works. I still have some sites I cannot log into, though. About 70.

Would love to see an autoupdate ‘fix’ soon.

mcstar – On the sites that you cant login be sure that you are accesing a login page without GET parameters.

    Go to yousiteUrl/wp-login.php and try

paulodamian – That doesn’t work for me. I have a redirect in .htaccess to avoid using /wp-login or /wp-admi, and this new WP SuperCache problem mucks with that setup. So, no login unless manually editing each .htaccess file, or deleting WP SuperCache via sFTP. Not happy with either option right now.

I think that if you delete WP SuperCache via FTP/sFTP your entire site could stop working.
Try disabling WP SuperCache via your database

Hi Guys, being a dummy at wordpress and not having any prior knowledge of how i can resolve the issue I got in contact with my web host ‘hostgator’ and they simply told me to access admin using this url:

    https://www.yourdomainhere.com/wp-login.php

which has worked. I can now access my admin and shall remove the plugin. Is there any plugins i can use to replace this one?

Hope this helps any of you

For anyone using a redirect in .htaccess to login, simply rename the WP SuperCache plugin, and that should deactivate it, allowing for a login.

For anyone else who wants to deactivate WP SuperCache, do so from the Plugins setting, then delete the Plugin. Alternatives I’ve used with success include ZenCache (free and Pro version), WP Fastest Cache, W3 Total Cache, and HyperCache.

What I like about WP Super Cache is that it’s an Automatic (WordPress) plugin, and creates complete static files which are served well with Apache or NGINX. It’s all magic in .htaccess, and, until this recent update, has worked well. The 1.4.3 update broke a lot of functionality– Preview, login, search, etc.

Hi , but if you delete the plugin you delete a lot of things well , I’m afraid of losing everything. I just started and I do not like to lose all information

It’s working for me now, too. I went in and “checked” the box for “Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url)” and hit “Preview” and got my page instead of the Fatal Error message.
    Maybe they fixed it already?

I have this same problem. It looks like my log in was erased

Fatal error: print_r(): Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in /home/perfu516/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase2.php on line 253

I just would like to see WordPress’ Team ANSWERING about that!!!

    Same problem here.

Paulodamian is right. If you activate:
“Don’t cache pages with GET parameters. (?x=y at the end of a url)”
    the problem is fixed.

Apologies everyone. Donncha pushed out 1.4.4 to resolve this earlier today which will resolve the fatal issues.

If you can’t access your wp-admin dashboard in the usual way, download 1.4.4 from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-super-cache.1.4.4.zip, extract it and upload it, fully replacing the files in wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache.

    Cheers!

    Thank you!
