Hi guys, I have a WP using Updraft Plus which is hosted on https://www.appliedi.net

The backup part works perfect as well ast restoring the data base. The problem we have is that we can’t restore any files (themes, plugins etc). We keep getting these errors:

    – Failed to move file (check your file permissions and disk quota)
    – Error message: Could not move the files into place. Check your file permissions.

We added full rights 777 to the user on the WP instance in our server but we still get these errors. Is there anything else we can do?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Please could you send us a copy of the restoration log?
This can be found in the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory of the site via FTP.

The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi,

Please could you check the ‘wp-content/updraft’ directory for a folder named ‘themes-old’?
    Does this folder exist?

Yes, I have that folder but it’s empty.

    Hi,

Try removing it (using FTP or web hosting file manager).

Another reason why a move of files might fail is that your hosting account space is full – try checking that.
