After installing your plugin I am getting a warning error on wordpress about saving to a general theme. As I am still new to WordPress, is there an easy way to do this or do I need to do some coding? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Did you go to the settings area and click “Save” so the default general theme was inserted?

No I didn’t, but I now went into the settings area and simply clicked “save” if that is what you meant. I didn’t touch the code inside that box unless as it says, to have the style back to the original theme/layout. The general theme error has now disappeared! Thanks. Do I need to do any coding to position my quotes to appear in a particular place on my landing page, for example?

It depends on where and what method.

If you use the shortcode the quotes will appears where the shortcode is located (assuming you have enabled shortcodes). There is also the widget function that will work for sidebars and other areas (depending on your theme).
