• I posted about this before, thinking it was my fault for playing with files, but someone for who I installed some plugins and did not mess with any other files, the error occurs.
Save a post, then go to edit it.
In the post preview is this error:
“Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1]
    SELECT post_content FROM wp_posts WHERE id=”
Everything still works fine, but it would be nice to know from where it came.
As far as I can remember, I installed the following plugins:
    wp-last-visit
    advanced tracking
    phpGiggle
    Waypath
Has anyone else got this error ?

  • I also get the following error in the Post Preview section of the Edit page (/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=16) whenever I go to edit a post:

Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1]
    SELECT post_content FROM wp_posts WHERE id=

Someone will probably come along with an answer shortly, but in the meantime it wouldn’t hurt to run upgrade.php and find out what version of MySQL you are using.
