My site sells subscriptions to online services and I have set up the WooCommerce Paypal Payments and Woo Subscriptions plugins. The store began operation this month and all was fine until this morning.
This morning, about 20 of the existing subscription orders were registered in WooCommerce as “renewed”, even though none of the customers did anything (the renewal of the subscriptions should be due next month or in 3 months, according to the type of subscription purchased). No payment was received, but the system sent out confirmation mails for the renewal orders and this is causing confusion. The affected customers were only those who paid with PayPal, while those who paid with a credit card were unaffected.
