error page displaying

When I add a URL of a plugin from the WP plugin repository (like samples below), I get an 404 error “page not found”. If I add an exact plugin name, it works just fine as it always has.
This just started today, it has been working fine up until now.
I have tried this on several different blogs, both 4.23 and 4.24 and all get the same response.
Anyone have the same experience or a solution?
