    hello,

    i’ve connected braintree but when i select paypal and click “purchase”
    (is not the sandbox mode because i already fixed that issue)
    i get this error

    Error: PayPal Powered by Braintree did not supply a payment nonce. Please try again later or use another means of payment.

    also in the log i got

    12-12-2016 @ 10:45:22 – process_payment – Error: The paypal_braintree_nonce was unexpectedly empty

    i already tried to disconnect and reconnect the braintree 3 times + disconnect the app in the braintree + reconnect. but still the same

    we have our products ready to be sold and the only thing that is missing is this payment!

    my WP version is 4.6.1
    the braintree plugin version is 1.2.6

  • I’m having the same problem, and have been for some time.

    We just launched a site we’ve been working on where, from day one, we would get that error often. Not all the time, but at least 50% of the time. It’s still happening, so I set out to test it.

    I just finished setting up a test site using only WordPress 4.7, WooCommerce, and PayPal Powered by Braintree plugins with the plain Storfront theme. On this site, I’m getting this error every single time.

    Can you please check to ensure that your checkout page is using the default [woocommerce_checkout] shortcode?

    This problem can occur when using third-party themes that use their own checkout shortcodes.

    If that does not resolve the problem, try deactivating all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooCommerce PayPal Powered by Braintree.

    If neither option helps, can open a ticket by going to https://www.WooCommerce.com, then click on Support > Helpdesk > Create a ticket > Free plugins.. Please make sure to include a temporary Administrator username and password with your message, so that our team can take a look at your sites.

    I’m also having the same problem. Sandbox used to work before upgrading WordPress. Now both credit card and paypal have the “Error: PayPal Powered by Braintree did not supply a payment nonce. Please try again later or use another means of payment” error.

    May I ask if SoapClient needs to be enabled?

    Also I found when sandbox is connected, the credit card fields in the checkout page isn’t enabled. There’s no way to put in credit card numbers.

    SOAP does not need to be installed. I’d check the following:

    Test with a default theme(2016/2017) and with virtually all other plugins disabled.

    Check to make sure PayPal is enabled within your Braintree account.

    Look to see if there are any JavaScript errors on the Checkout page.
