• I used XAMPP to install Apache and MySQL, and then I downloaded Worpress but I’m getting the error:

    Error: PHP is not running

WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.

Using the XAMPP control panel loaded on my PC, I’ve ensured both Apache and MySQL are running by clicking on the ‘Start’ buttons next to each. I also edited the wp-config.php file to capture the details of the Databse I’ve created.

Does anyone know what I must do to get PHP to actually run so I can install WordPress?

    Thanks in advance!
