Error: please type a comment

  • When i press the “say it!” button after writting a comment, the page “wp-comments-post.php” returns the message “Error: please type a comment.” After the error, i checked the comments page and the comment was already there. I have moderation turned off.
    This is a bit weird because using firefox in my PC i get the error message, but don’t get the message using IE. But in my brother’s computer using IE i get the error. Hope someone can help me. Thanks!

    I just posted comments to your blog from Mozilla Firefox and from IE on my PC and both worked…

    Thanks for the test Lily, i’ll be testing it with other computers and browsers. Hope the problem is only on family’s computers =)

    i’m having this problem also.. it gives me the same error message when i try to post from any browser. then i go into the edit menu in admin it says a few posts have 1 comment, which they don’t. and when i click on it, there is no comment.
