Error Pretty link

    In Versión 2.0.8
    The plugin generates this error.
    In the past, the same problem was the same error. Witch an updated was fixed. But now the plugin has a big bug like this: It’s impossible create new links that includes a folder previusly.
    Example: domain .com/floder/affiliate-link

    ERROR: This Pretty Link Slug is already taken. Check to make sure it isn’t being used by another pretty link, post, page, category or tag slug. If none of these are true then check to see that this slug isn’t the name of a file in the root folder of your wordpress install.

    I can’t get this to happen on my test site. Are you sure there’s no other pages or posts or media files on your site using /folder/ on your site?

    Hello,
    The plugin had the same problem one year ago.
    The intermediate folder in my website doesn’t exit, but the plugin tell me:

    “This Pretty Link Slug is already taken. Check to make sure it isn’t being used by another pretty link, post, page, category or tag slug. If none of these are true then check to see that this slug isn’t the name of a file in the root folder of your wordpress install.”,

    This te reason to open this ticket in the support forum.

    I don’t think I’ve seen any emails come through from you yet. Let me know if this is still a problem. We’ll probably be adding an option in the next release to turn off the validation (at your own risk) for those who still struggle with this slug conflict error.
