Error pruning old backup sets Google Drive

    I have many websites, all using Updraft Plus to backup to Google Drive. The backups complete OK BUT the majority fail on “pruning old backup sets”, leaving backups beyond the intended (5 day) retention period. In a lot of cases, the backup “hangs” through constant retries etc.
    I am sure this is a common problem but have never seen an answer which fixes the problem. I can supply log files, images etc if needed.

    Hi,

    Please could you send us a copy of the latest full backup log?
    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.
    The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Hi,

    There seems to be a problem with the Google Drive connection.
    Please can you try to re-authenticate it again? Then run a new backup and see if issue persists?
