• I’ve been having issues with The Event Calendar since about a week. When creating an event (using the Block Editor), there seems to be nothing wrong; all the details can be filled in. After publishing, the event single page gives a 404 (earlier published events do not) and the event is not shown in any calendar or list view.
When going back to the event list in the back-end, the date is set to today (if you view a day later, the date is set to that day).
When editing this event, the date/time block gives an error that cannot be fixed. Also, the price is not saved. In the browser inspector/console it shows two identical errors: “TypeError: l is undefined”, referring to ‘react-dom.min.js:9:64017’.

I’ve already tried switching to the Twenty-twenty-three theme, deactivating all other plugins, re-installing the Event Calendar plugin, all with no improvement.

I’m using the Avada theme with WP 6.1.1 on PHP 8.0.27.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

    Hi @jasperpress

    Thanks for your response.

I tried it once again on my test site, but I could not replicate the issue. Could you try the following and let me know which one fails:

    • Create an event with Organizer only
    • Create an event with Venue only
    • Create an event with RSVP only
    • Create an event with Organizer and Venue only
    • Create an event with Organizer and RSVP only
    • Create an event with a Venue and RSVP only
    • Create an event with an Organizer, Venue and RSVP

I’m trying to narrow down which combination is failing. Moreover, could you also provide the Venue, Organizer, and RSVP settings you’re using? A screen recording would also be helpful for us to replicate it on our end.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi @d0153,

Wouldn’t it me more efficient if I provided you with login credentials for the testing-environment I set up? If so, what would you need and what would be a secure way of sharing the login credentials?

Alright, I’m one step closet to the source of the issue.

I’ve tried all your event-creation actions, without issues.

Then, I tried creating events but with deleting some blocks that are unnecessary for the event itself (like website button, add-to-calendar link). The issue ONLY occurs when I create an event and I delete the Tickets-block.

If I remove the tickets-block after the event is created, no issues occur.

Does this help with finding the issue?
