    Hi there!
First of all, thanks for your plugin, it’s really nice!

When i’m trying to make a backup with BackupBuddy from iThemes i’m getting this error message:

A javascript error occurred which may prevent the backup from continuing. Check your browser error console for details. This is most often caused by another plugin or theme containing broken javascript. See details below for clues or try temporarily disabling all other plugins.
Details: ‘ReferenceError: QTags is not defined’.

The problem is definitely the combination of footnotes and BackupBuddy.

This issue was already reported a while ago:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/qtag-not-defined-error-when-trying-to-make-a-backup/

    WP: 5.4.1
    footnotes: 1.6.4
    BackupBuddy: 8.5.7.0
    PHP: 7.1.33

Can we hope for a fix?

    Thank you very much!

footnotes now uses state-of-the-art jQuery UI as recommended by WordPress.

We apologize for the many issues caused, and for the long delay.
