Error: Quota Error: User Rate Limit Exceeded.

Hello @robzdc thanks for reaching out. The error you’re encountering here is a “User Rate Limit” and can occur if you create 10 Analytics accounts/properties within a one hour period. In such cases this is expected.

During Analytics setup there is the account creation, property creation and view setup, with each counting towards the user quota of 10 writes per hour. If users were to attempt a full setup or edit the configurations 3 times per hour then at the next attempt they would encounter this quota error.

Is this happening when trying to set up/edit your Analytics within Site Kit because if so then it looks like you have hit this quota limit and I would advise waiting for an hour and trying again. Let me know if you then still encounter the issue.

Hi – just wanted to add that I’m encountering the same error: “Error: Quota Error: User Rate Limit Exceeded” and I have not created any other Analytics accounts/properties in the last hour.

One time, it did let me go to the next screen, but then I got a blank error (screenshot: https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApuxEZ9k)

I will try again later, but wanted to let you know this may not be an isolated issue.

I am seeing the same after upgrading. I have not created or modified any properties in at least a few weeks.
