Error: redirect_uri_mismatch

Hi,

We have had problems in the past where changing the redirect URI breaks the project on Google’s end.

Could you try connecting to Google with a brand new project, using the address without ‘www.’?

I deleted all my projects started a new project on Google Drive but nothing changed.

when i click the authorize google-drive-link Google drive asks me to allow permission for redirect https://mydomain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?action=updraftmethod-googledrive-auth (without the www)

when I click allow then it redirects me to :
https://www.mydomain.com/login-2/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Frobot.nl%2Fwp-admin%2Foptions-general.php%3Faction%3Dupdraftmethod-googledrive-auth%26state%3Dtoken%26code%3D4%2Fr2p6NCFotKJV8uJIIdlHYh5SyCjlL1cytw96XyVZ_kU&reauth=1#

Where I have to login but on my wordpress-dashboard there is still the link to authorize the google drive account.

So basicly:

Updraft tells me to use www in the redirectlink but the actual redirectlink is exluded the www.

Then when it redirects excluding the www the final result is to end at a www address.

It sounds like your WordPress site has a configured site URL of https://robot.nl , but that you have something set up on the webserver that redirects https://robot.nl to https://www.robot.nl, at least for your admin area. That seems to be the case – if I visit that link directly, I get a redirect.

You need to resolve that conflict one way or the other: either edit the WordPress settings (Settings -> General) so that the site URL has www. in it, or remove the redirect.

Thanks for your reply and solution.

When looking in the Settings-> General the websiteaddress was with the www.
But it I could not change it because it was hard coded in the wp-config.php.

When i removed this line in the wp-config.php
The Settings-> general showed my websiteaddress without the www and when I changed it the authorisation worked!
