Error replacing image

    about one week ago we found out that the replacement of files is not working any more. Error that is show when having the first option (“replace original”) selected (translated): “the selected directory is outside of the upload directory. Due to security reasons this is forbidden.“. It used to work for 3 years. Now it doesn’t work in all websites of our multisite-network. Installed Version: 4.1.0

    If it doesn’t work in all websites of a multisite, the issue is probably coming from some change made on said multisite. In any case, it would be helpful if you could provide us with some additional information, including:

    • Screenshots?or a?screen recording?that show the issue in action. If possible, please include?relevant links?as well.
    • Your site information. Please?navigate to?Tools?>?Site Health?>?Info,?click on the?“Copy site info to clipboard”?button and paste the information in your reply.
    • Finally, is the issue occurring in more than one web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.)?

    We found the mistake. The auto-update hadn’t installed WP 6.2 version yet, it only happened under WP 6.1 version.
