• Hello,
I actually use Version 1.0.19 of your plugin.
Over all a really nice plugin!
But I have a big problem, which seems to be strange.
If I updated to a newer Version than 1.0.19 (i.e. 1.0.26), some of my pages stop to work, because “error reporting” seems to be enabled, which for example disturbs an XML-generation ending up in a XML-error.
I only found some inactive lines in the lively-chat-Support.php concerning error reporting. Deleting them didn’t help.
So do you have any suggestions for me, what could cause this issue?
    Thanks in advance!
    Kind regards
    Tobias

Maybe your theme or another plugin has error reporting turned on?

More importantly, what error is being reported? I’d obviously rather Lively didn’t have any errors.

Thanks a lot for the answer!

But, the theme or another plugin can not be the reason, because it occurs only, if I tried to update lively chat Support. No other plugin was updated at the same time and no other changes were made! There must be a correlation with lively chat Support!

The errors reported after the update are in context of an included php-file which connects to a mysql database (developed by ourselfs, not a part of wordpress). The errors by itself are not the problem, if they are not displayed (like before the update).

Can you imagine any changes in lively chat support, which could cause turning on error reporting?

I can’t think of anything that would’ve turned that on. I guess my thought is that Lively is indeed throwing an error, but its showing because error reporting has been turned on by something else (if that makes sense).

Here’s the list of changes that have been made:
