Hello, I have made several tests to install the plugin and it always gives me this error.

It seems like there’s something interfering with your WordPress REST API. This needs to be fixed in order to grant access to this plugin. More info here.

    Hello,

Yes, I have read the article, but I still have the same problem.
I have tried doing a clean install, and it remains the same.

The https://yourstore.com/wp-json/ return a perfect json

    Hello, thanks for your response.

Did you tried the rest of the suggestions in the article? And, I see you also tried to deactivate and activate the plugin again, correct? (If not, please do, most of the time this does the trick.)
If you’ve already tried both things, however, please check out additional suggestions and actions in this article, and let me know if those worked:

Please let me know how it went, I’ll be attentive. All the best,

    Hello,
I have done a new installation of wp and woo on another server, and it already works for me.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

I have the same problem. First plugin started to work when moved WordPress on a server and changed URL structure to article name but now plugin stopped working again.

Hi, Have you tried activating and deactivating the plugin? It usually does the trick.
If that didn’t work, could you send us more details about the old/new installation URLs to [email protected]?

Keep in mind that the installation cannot be a page-level installation.

    Thank you for your reply!

I figured out the problem: site’s subdomain was password protected.

The article suggests that once I’ve installed the Product Recommendation Quiz on a live website, I can hide it again and work on quiz incognito. How this works? I tested password protection and it affects the plugin once activated.

Thanks for letting me know @outiojala!

I believe each password protection plugin might work differently, the one I tried long ago did allow me to work on incognito.

Hello, I have made several tests to install the plugin and it always gives me this error.

It seems like there’s something interfering with your WordPress REST API. This needs to be fixed in order to grant access to this plugin. More info here. We’re getting the following error accessing your WooCommerce API from our server:

404 Not Found Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Have you tried checking this article:
    https://revenuehunt.com/faqs/woocommerce-authentication-error-404-not-found-missing-parameter-app-name/
    ?

It lists the most common issues that cause the 404 WordPress REST API error.

I have already checked this link but could not get any solution.

Have you also checked if your website returns a correct json?
    https://yourstore.com/wp-json/

If it doesn’t return any errors, then most likely there’s another plugin that’s blocking your WordPress API. In these cases, it may be necessary to deactivate the plugins one by one (and try granting access) to be able to identify the culprit.

Please also try to deactivate/activate the plugin if you haven’t done so yet.

Keep in mind that for the plugin to work WordPress needs to be installed at domain or subdomain level, not at page level.
