    Hi there,

    I’m trying to show data from the Vietnamese markets such as the VNINDEX. However, the chart didn’t show anything. It kept noticing me that “error retrieving data. Please try again”.

    Do you know how to fix this problem? Please help.

    Hi, we have just tested the ^VNINDEX chart and it’s working fine for us. Can you please elaborate on what you are passing in stock exchange and symbol? Do you have a URL on your site where we can see the error live?

    I’m trying to compare VNindex return vs gold and currency exchange.

    I entered ^VNINDEX for the symbol input and GC;USD;BTC for the compare input.

    I chose Vietnamese culture and 365 for days..

    It just doesn’t work. Please help.

    The problem is that you are not specifying the compare symbols properly. You are combining symbols from different exchanges but you’re not specifying it correctly. Also, you are not using a pair for the currencies and crypto. If you don’t specify the exchange prefix, the system will asume that the compare symbols belong to the main stock exchange, which is HOSE in your case.

    In order to do what you want, you must set the compare input to: COMMODITIES:GC;FOREX:USD/VND;CRYPTO:BTC/USD

    We are assuming that you want the USD/VND pair because your site is in Vietnam.
