I am using the following shortcode

    [stock-quotes-list symbols=”AAPL;MSFT;GOOG;HPQ;^SPX;^DJI” stockExchange=”NYSENasdaq” height=”380″ motif=”financial” palette=”financial-light”]

Although, it does work, above the stock data I get a large open field that displays the error, “Error retrieving data, please try again.”

Also, the first and last symbols are not reporting correctly and show as plain text outside of the data chart.

Lastly, what is this HUGE space between the NAME and PRICE columns?

Hi, we visited your site and noticed that the problem is that, for some reason, the symbols field has a ” character before AAPL and after ^DJI. Try changing it for a regular double-quote and it should solve the “Error retrieving data” issue, as well as the correct reporting in the first and last symbols. Essentially, there’s an extra ” character which is being used as part of the symbol.

The large space you’re referring to is the are designated to display the company name. Since some company names are quite large, the plugin gives the larger percentage of space to the name column. In your case, the plugin is very wide, so it distributes the space accordingly, and it seems like a very large space. You can make that space smaller by making your plugin narrower.

    PERFECT! Thanks.

I copy and pasted the shortcode from these forums. I guess someone had the wrong quotes.

Also, thanks for the info on the name field.

You guys were great. Very prompt. Awesome plugin.
