Error Saving Settings – Stripe Payment Settings

    Hi, I can’t save settings of WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.

    I already have the whole store set up and all the purchases in test mode done. When I turn off test mode and save, it gives me a “Failed to save options” error. So I can’t get the online store up and running because with test mode activated you can’t buy.
    I have contacted Stripe and have everything set up fine.

    I disabled all plugins except woocommerce and stripe, and disabled my template and put Storefront. And the problem continues.

    If I understand you correctly, your site is working fine when using Stripe’s Test Mode, however, when disabling it and enabling Live Mode, you are receiving the error message: “Failed to save options”, correct?

    Have you added the proper webhooks for Live Mode on your site?

    If so, please provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    The Maximum execution time is something set by your hosting provider so please share this error with them so they can increase it.

    As for these other logs, they are not related to WooCommerce. You can get in touch with the Query monitor plugin team from their support forum.

    Back to the Stripe problem, can you please disbale the plugins below and try switching to the live mode again?

    Thanks for warning me about increasing the Maximum execution time and also for warning me about the problem with the Query monitor plugin

    On the Stripe problem, I deactivate this two plugins and turn on live mode.

    Yes, that is correct. Please check if the Stripe Live mode is active (I am assuming you accessed your Stripe Dashboard, generated the live keys, put them into WooCommerce Stripe plugin, and saved the settings).

    If that is correct and the live Stripe mode is working, you will be able to re-enable the plugins that were temporarily disabled.

    Let us know how that goes.

    Thanks for your response, can you please temporarily switch your theme to Storefront? Then disable all plugins except WooCommerce and WooCommerce Stripe Payment Gateway.

    At this point, please try again to connect Stripe:

    You can consider using the Meks Quick Plugin Disabler to help you remember what plugins you currently have active, so it’s easy to switch them back on. Link: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/meks-quick-plugin-disabler/

    Can you please check if the secret key for the Live mode is set up correctly?

    Also, please ask your host to deactivate any caching/security add-ons temporarily.

    If that doesn’t work, please open a ticket about this from WooCommerce.com > MY profile > Support so we can investigate this further.

    Make sure to include a link to this thread so we know what has been done already.
