    hi
I have moved my site from a server to another and since then I cannot upload pictures in media section. I tryed to add them with FTP also in the uploads folder but still is not there. When I install it normally from the media section, an error comes up saying unable to save the image attachment.
    Any ideeas?

  • This occurs most often when WordPress does not have write permissions to the upload folder – first review if you have set that in
    settings>media

It can also be due to a file that is too large in MB, try a smaller file to test.

Warning: copy(wp-content/uploads/2012/04/……..jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 348

this is the message when I try to upload the image directly to the theme options section.

I have changed permissions to 777 on almost every file starting from wp-content, uploads and the image folder also and still no luck.

I have tried really small images too….

as far as the media settings, the files should be saved into wp-content/uploads as set as default, I haven’t modified anything

as I have mentioned this problems appeared only when I have changed server. Before worked fine.

This is most likely due to write permission on the uploads folder – review with your new host.
