    Hi!

    An error occurs during registration.

“Error! Security check failed for membership level identifier validation.
The submitted membership level data does not match.
If you are using caching please empty the cache data and try again.
If you are using the Form Builder addon, please update the addon and try again.”

Replacement add.php-file from the downloaded repository does not help. Please help!

    Hi,

It looks like you are using the form builder addon for registration page. Please submit the following form and we will provide help:
    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/premium-addon-support/

    Thank you.

I’m having the same issue with the Simple WordPress Membership plugin. It looks like versions 4.1.3 and 4.1.4 have this problem.

I rolled back to 4.1.2 and registration is once again working.

For reference, I’m running Simple Membership Form Builder Version 4.3.9.

@wpbccwnc5, please use the link above to submit the form. A developer will assist you.

    Thank you.

I think we’re having the same issue. I was going to reinstall the plugin, but since we had someone build our website (who we’re no longer in touch with) I wasn’t sure how to proceed….

I’m having the same issue exactly – suddenly after years of using with no issues. I opened a ticket with the plugin developer, but wanted to share this here: I pulled a backup of our site from a few months ago that had version 4.1.0, deleted the current 4.1.4 and uploaded the old version, and the site is now allowing registration again.
Obviously that’s just a quick fix but if you’re as desperate as I was – this will get you through until whatever is wrong is fixed ??

    Thank you.

Just need to upgrade the form builder extension for this. If you have already submitted the following form then we will reply there:

    Hi,

I am having the same problem at https://aorticdissectionawareness.org/membership-join/membership-registration/ which has appeared since the update to 4.1.4 two weeks ago. The Simple Membership Form Builder add-on is version 4.6.8, WP version 6.0.1 with Divi 4.17.5 theme.

I have looked at your support link https://simple-membership-plugin.com/premium-addon-support/ but I took over management of this site from someone else who I can no longer contact.

    2 questions:

    1. Is there a fix fro this problem due to be rolled out in an update and if so when?
    2. How can I roll back to the earlier version? We are losing membership applications so I’d like to at least get an urgent temporary fix.

    Many thanks

supplementary: looking at the chngelog this appears to have arived at 4.1.3:
    “4.1.3
Added a warning in the edit member interface for situation when a member account is created without a membership level value.
    Small user edit interface improvement.
Added ‘French Polynesia’ country to the countries dropdown list.
Removes the membership_level data (if posted) from the edit profile update operation (since this data is not needed for this operation). Thanks to Vladimir for pointing this out.
Added an additional hash check for the level_identified on registration form.”

Is there something I can do to fix this by correcting membership levels in the database?

@wpbccwnc5 How did you roll back to 4.1.2?
