Error Selected Payment Gateway Not Enabled

    Hi,

    I am having trouble with this plugin.

    When only the Paypal Standard gateway is enabled I get the error ‘error selected payment gateway not enabled’.
    When I enable another gateway – the paypal option does work.
    I only want to offer the paypal option. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi there,

    I see you’re using HTTPS — which is excellent — but I also see many “Mixed-Content Errors” on the page.

    We have a guide here which can help you resolve those.

    That is most likely the cause. If PayPal receives information that is not properly encrypted via HTTPS then it rejects the information.

    Let’s get those cleared up first and go from there. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

    thanks for the quick reply.

    I have made the site completely secure and I still have the same issue.
    What else can I try?

    Double check what your Global Payment Gateway setting is. My guess is that it’s NOT PayPal. Or, in your Give Form edit screen that you’ve set the Payment Gateway default to be something other than PayPal.

    Double-check both of those.

    Both were set at PayPal as PayPal is the only enabled gateway.

    When checking the System Info I can see that the only enabled gateway is ‘PayPal’ but the Default gateway is ‘test donation.’
    I then enabled ‘Test donation’ and the default returned to PayPal and the PayPal option works perfectly. When I again disable the ‘Test’ the default returns to ‘Test’.
    Any ideas?

    Did you resolve this? I have the exact same situation. It worked before, but after update it seems as if only PayPal gateway doesn’t seem to work.

    In my case it was conflicting with the BitCoin Give Addon. We deactivated it and it worked!!

    I deactivated all unnecessary plugins then .. it worked!!
