Error sending message when email has numbers

This is a new error that just started happening in the last week or so.

If someone tries to submit a form with an email that includes a number, the form gives the message “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

A submission without an email with a number goes through correctly.

For example “[email protected]” doesn’t work but “[email protected]” does.

The form worked perfectly until at least November 13. I replaced the form on November 17, tested it both with and without numbers in the email field and it worked for a few hours before showing the same error.

Any ideas why it’s rejecting emails with numbers and how I can fix it?
