error shipping classes

Could you please provide us with the exact replication steps?

I have tested the following on my test site with only WooCommerce core installed:

– created new shipping classes
– assigned a shipping class to a product

I see that a shipping class was properly assigned to a product and Shipping class counters updated accordingly.

Do I miss any steps? Have you tried to disable all other plugins and test the same behavior?

the problem is very simple: when I change, in the product, from a no shipping class to a specific shipping class, the total in the cart is not updated!?!?! but as long as I change any setting in: https://www.malaramaurizio.it/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=shipping&section=options
The total is updated ???
Any solution please….

il problema e molto semplice: quando cambio, nel prodotto, da nessuna classe di spedione a una specifica classe di spedizione, sul totale in the cart non viene aggiornato !?!?! ma basta che io cambio una qualsiasi impostazione in : https://www.malaramaurizio.it/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-settings&tab=shipping&section=options
Il totale viene aggiornato

With all plugin except WooCommerce disable, have you also try updating the product with a default theme like Twenty Seventeen active? Also, does this happen to any other product?

I disable all plugin and i active Twenty Seventeen theme but is same. in the cart not update the total…
I tried with just one product because before adding more I have to be sure it works

When you tested with Twenty Seventeen, did you also disable all other plugins except for WooCommerce?

Also, create a new test product to see if the product that will allow you to assign a shipping class. Let us know what you find.

Yes all plugin is disable, tested with Twenty Seventeen, new product add….
The problem is if I change the shipping class of a product after I’ve entered it, the total in cart is not updated ??
But the strangest thing is that if I add the same product then 2 on the cart page, the total is updated?!?!?! (see the screens below)

Shipping Classes will not show or hide shipping methods, they are used to apply different calculations for flat rate and reporting:

If you’d like to show or hide a shipping method based on the assigned shipping class then you can use the paid plugin Conditional Shipping and Payments:

https://woocommerce.com/products/conditional-shipping-and-payments/

This will allow you to create conditions to determine the methods customers can choose when a product with a specific class, or multiple products with a specific class, are in the order. Hope that helps!
