Suddenly, all Form Maker forms are giving this error on submission,
    ‘Error, something went wrong.’
which is hard to troubleshoot as it says nothing I can verify. What is a plausible next step?

  • same here. I think there is an issue with the plugin. I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling, going into settings and turning on developer mode. Still no fix. Anyone able to help?

Just rolled back to version 1.13.5 and it works again. I suggest you do the same until it is fixed.

how do I roll it back to that version?

Either download here under ‘Previous Versions’ and upload to your plugin folder: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/form-maker/advanced/

Or use a plugin such as WP Rollback to make it easier (although test it first)
    https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-rollback/

Thanks. Looks like rollback doesn’t work with form maker pro. There’s no option to rollback on it once WP rollback is installed. Guess I will have to delete everything and start over.

same here for the last week no fix yet?

The new update is broken. I rolled back to 1.13.5 and it works fine now for me as well. Going to just use that version until a fix is made. Follow the link in the comment above. Delete your current version and install the 1.13.5. It saved all my forms for me so I didn’t have to recreate them.

    Dear users,

We are really sorry for all the inconvenience you have faced.

Today just a few hours ago, we have updated the plugin which will solve the issue with submit button.

    Please update the plugins.

Note: For the pro version users, please DO NOT install the free version over the pro version. For the questions regarding the Premium version, please contact our support team using the following form.
Though this new version should solve your issues too.

Had same problem and error message with latest version..
I can confirm that rolling back to version 1.13.5 works fine again…
