    I had seen a thread on this topic already, however, it had been closed. I am having this same issue.

    Testing PayPal in the sandbox, using the test account to pay via balance, it works.

    But pay via credit card, always got “Payment failed, please try again!”

    Besides, if pay via credit card without login,?Error! Something went wrong when verifying the payment

    (Translation: We cannot add this card, please check all the details are correct, then re-try, or use another card)

    Enabled Debug Mode in PayPal Advanced setting, but nothing found.

    Any suggestion?where should i look into…`

    Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

    Could you please try this troubleshoot?

    – Add the HTTP log plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/log-http-requests/
    – Try to Submit the form again, the same issue will happen, but this time check the log generated by the plugin. You need to look for any status other than 200 which means ok.
    – Disable the HTTP plugin and let us know which header code you got.

    Hi Patrick,

    Now it works, using credit card both login or without login in sandbox, will try in live later.

    Thank you for the information

    PayPal is migrating the sandbox, https://www.paypal-status.com/bulletin/sandbox so we expect some random issues in this envierment.

    This is ridiculous, after everything worked in sandbox, it showed this error.

    We’re sorry. You cannot use your PayPal account registered in Taiwan to send payments to, or receive payments from, other PayPal accounts registered in Taiwan.

    Do you see any chance we can connect the payment via https://tw.www.ads-software.com/plugins/ecpay-payment-for-woocommerce/

    Sorry to hear this,

    I am afraid the only options are PayPal or Stripe,

    We’re sorry. You cannot use your PayPal account registered in Taiwan to send payments to, or receive payments from, other PayPal accounts registered in Taiwan.

    It seems PayPal will limit the access for your location, unfortunately, this would the limitation on the PayPal side which we can’t bypass, I suggest contacting PayPal support to verify if there is any workaround.

    It is not your problem, I know, just I was too frustrated that they didn’t mention this limitation before we try their sandbox.

    Anyway, thanks for your help.
