Error: Stripe doesn’t currently support application fees for platforms…

    Greeting,

    I would like to know if there is a solution for the next message I am receiving when trying to make payments on a website:

    Stripe doesn’t currently support application fees for platforms in US with connected accounts in MX

    We are using the latest version of the plugin. It worked fine before updating to use “Stripe Connect”.

    Any ideas what might be causing this error?

    The free version of the plugin has a 2% application fee. This is the first time I am hearing of this error message however. It appears to be a limitation due to your Stripe account being based in Mexico and ours being in the US.

    Yeah, after investigating I have found that probably that is the cause of the error/problem. So, it is Stripe and not the plugin.

    None the less, we were able to fix the issue reverting the options of the plugin to a previous working state (thanks to a backup).
