ERROR: The comment could not be saved

  • I’m working on a site https://www.twentyfivehundred.com

    and one day the comments just stopped working and I got this message:
    ERROR: The comment could not be saved. Please try again later.

    I switched it to Disqus but the client doesn’t want to use Disqus. I have no idea why it stopped working because it was fine one day and broken the next. Any know what could be the cause of this problem?

  • You must have installed some new plugin or switched theme. Please verify disabling theme one by one to find the plugin which is causing problems.

    If plugins are not causing problems then switch to the wordpress basic theme. In this way you will find the source of your problem..

    Am facing similar problem too.. And this is my 6months of using wordpress, this problem came suddenly!
