Error the controller does not exist

    Hi,

    I have install the vik booking plugin on my WordPress site I work fine. But after a day When I try to access to vik booking I got the error message : The controller does not exist

    I don’t know what happening but It happening evry single day and I have to reinstall to make it work again.
    I need some help pleaz !

    Hi,

    That’s an error raised by the framework of Vik Booking, either because the file does not exist, or maybe because it is not readable.
    Some others of our clients have reported a similar issue, where a third party plugin, or a “security measure” installed on their server, was renaming the files “controller.php” into something like “controller.php.suspected”. Of course this breaks the whole functioning of Vik Booking.
    The PHP structure of Vik Booking uses several “controllers”, but two are the main ones that you should make sure always exist on your server:

    /wp-content/plugins/vikbooking/site/controller.php
    /wp-content/plugins/vikbooking/admin/controller.php

    Also, you should probably stop this third party process from altering the core files of Vik Booking as there is no sense of doing such a thing. Vik Booking never renames files, and so it must be something else that does so.
